Join myself and Kim Moscaritolo, my running mate, for our petitioning kickoff weekend! We will be hitting the streets to meet voters and collect signatures to get on the ballot, and we can't do it without you.
Petitioning is the process of collecting enough signatures to qualify for the ballot. No one can get on the ballot unless they have the necessary number of signatures (in this case 500). In addition, good quality signatures are hard to come by, and petitions can be challenged by opponents. Therefore, it is crucial that we collect as many as possible.
Even if you can only spare an hour, it would be a huge help. And if you can't make it this weekend, don't worry. Petitioning is a five week long process ending the first week of July, so there will be plenty of opportunities to hit the streets!
